Most people would probably answer; they scroll social media or watch their favorite shows on Netflix. After all, we need to relax and give ourselves a break. Right?
Being a Muslim, it is your ultimate duty to connect with the Book of Allah, as much as you can. The more you recite the Quran and focus on its meaning, the more it empowers you and brings you closer to Allah (SWT). Sadly, most of the Muslims today are blinded by the Western media. We believe we have more fun and enjoyment consuming chunks of entertainment than when we recite the Quran.
Let’s start changing this perception from today. We witness the miracles of Allah, day and night. The transformation of the seasons, day and night, modification of the landscapes, and even our entire body speaks of the signs of the power of Allah (SWT).
Currently, we are living in constant fear of a disease that took the entire world by surprise. Also known as the Coronavirus, it has taken the whole world by storm.
It is about time that we wake up and realize the real purpose of our life. If we have not connected with the Quran yet, we still have time.
In case you are clueless about where to begin, let us show you the way.
Recite Quran With Tajweed – the first step
The purpose of tajweed’s science is to make the reader proficient in the recitation of the Quran. It teaches how to observe every letter’s correct pronunciation with characteristics and rulings that apply to it.
When learning Tajweed, the reciter can recite the Quran according to how it was revealed on the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). It touches their heart’s chords and makes them form a unique connection with Allah (SWT).
Benefits of Learning Tajweed Online
There are many Prophetic traditions which promise multiple rewards for the recitation of the Quran.
Among such Ahadith are:
“Whoever read a letter of the Qur’an, he has ten rewards”
“Whoever is engaged in the recitation of the Qur’an, understands its meanings and teaches its sciences, he is best among them.”
In light of these Ahadith, it becomes mandatory that we follow a structure when reciting the Quran. When we recite the Quran with its due properties, it will change our hearts and lives.
Living in hyper-technological age, learning Tajweed has become easier than ever before. You can quickly learn Tajweed online with Quran tutors from across the world. Following are some of the benefits of learning the Quran with Tajweed online:
Learning Quran online gives you the feasibility to choose your own time and schedule. There is no need to follow a timetable that doesn’t fit in your routine. You can have a discussion with your Quran tutors on Skype and devise a schedule for yourself.
You can quickly tell them how you have a hectic routine. A well-established Quran teaching platform will respond positively to all your concerns, and they will help you structure a schedule for the classes that fit your pattern.
Tajweed of Quran is an extensive study that covers different domains such as pronunciation and vocals. When you get individual attention from the online Quran tutors, you can freely tell them about your preferred learning speed. They devise a curriculum that fits a person’s need and makes sure that they don’t feel overburdened with the load of work.
Productive Time Usage
One of the critical benefits of reciting the Quran with Tajweed is that you productively utilize your time. Instead of wasting hours on social media and games, you can study the Quran and gain rewards from Allah (SWT). In a hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) stated that those who can recite the Quran meticulously and precisely will be among the company of Allah’s angels.
Students who find it hard to take time out of their busy routine and manage to do so should not undermine their efforts. They are gaining rewards from Allah (SWT) for every ounce of effort they put into this endeavor.
The journey to read the Quran with proficiency will not be an easy one. Many students struggle with appropriate recitation. Such people should always motivate themselves with the following Hadith:
“The one who recites the Quran precisely will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels, and as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering and stumbling through its verses, then he will have twice that reward.”

However, the recent technological developments have finally changed the scenario. You can learn from native teachers, sitting at their desks, living seven seas apart.
Platforms like The Best Quran Teaching are the ultimate avenues you can seek assistance from. You can choose from different courses, such as Quran Recitation, Quran Tajweed, and Quran Tafseer. Also, these websites cater to people from different age groups. If you want to enroll your child in either of these programs, you can do so in very easy steps.
In case you are not sure whether to move ahead, here are some of the reasons to convince you more.
It is flexible
When you study with Quran tutors on Skype, it gives you an opportunity to design your own schedule. The tutors usually ask you to pick a schedule that works for you. This is quite helpful when you have school-going kids or a hectic work routine. The teacher will allow you to pick a time according to your location and feasibility.
You can choose your own pace
When you study the Quran online from online tutors, you get to choose your speed. Unlike the on-site classes where the entire class runs at the same pace, online platforms bring you an opportunity to choose a speed that works for you. This is quite helpful for kids who are slow learners or new converts.
A good online Quran teaching forum allows you to have a conversation with your Quran tutor. You can have an interactive session with the tutor where you tell him/her all about your expected outcomes from this course. Also, tell them the pace that you prefer for your kid or yourself. The online Quran tutor designs a curriculum according to the need of every student.
Online Quran Teaching has become a norm these days. During the classroom setting in an Islamic Institute, the students usually have to attend a lesson and be a part of the group. However, things are quite different in the online Quran set-up. Every student gets individual attention from the teacher.
The Quran tutor makes sure that there is only one student during the lesson and they pay entire attention to that student. One-on-one interaction brings more chances for the student to grasp knowledge. They can freely ask questions from the instructor and request repetition of lessons if the concepts are not clear.
Authentic and native tutors
Oftentimes, parents want their child to recite Quran in the same accent and tone as the natives. It might be possible that they do not have enough facilities available nearby. When they expose their child to online teaching of the Quran, they can enroll them in different courses where natives are teaching Tajweed online or a certified tutor teaches Quran Tafseer online.
Learning from the native tutors can leave an excellent impact on the recitation and dialect of the learner.
Thus, we arrive at the conclusion that learning Quran online comes with impressive benefits. It is quite probable for Muslims living in Western World to have limited access to Islamic resources and centers. Thankfully, technology has made things simpler, enabling people to connect with experts living far away and consume gems of knowledge.
May Allah (SWT) reward us all for our efforts and make us enter the Jannah soon. Aameen!

Children are ignorant of what the Quran is and what importance does it carry for a Muslim, so the duty heavily rests upon the parents to make sure that the child shows an interest in the Quran and learns it with interest. In addition, the Holy Quran guides us about every role of life.
Why we should learn Quran with tajweed?
The Quran is the word of Allah. The way it is assembled, the meaning it carries is unmatchable and not to be found in any book in the world. Additionally, to the depth of meaning that the verses of the Quran carry, there is also the sublime language that makes it apart from any of the writings in the world in general and Arabic specifically.
Pertaining to the embellished prose style, which Quran utilizes, the style in itself is unique, however, it is when the recitation of this style is done in a rightful manner that the true effect of the Quran can be noted and experienced. This is why recitation of the Quran needs to be done with Tajweed and that’s why our tutors have more focus on tajweed, especially for beginners. So learn Quranic Arabic online with Best Quran Teaching, as our expert teachers in this Arabic language can make you more proficient.
What is Tajweed?
Tajweed refers to the correct articulation of the words of the Arabic language. Like the English language, Arabic also contains sounds that need to be articulated in a proper manner. Muslims in most parts of the world are able to know and learn the Arabic sounds however, their articulation is governed by their parent language sound patterns and thus they are hardly able to pronounce the words in a way they are to be pronounced. Therefore, learning of Tajweed helps all Muslims from any nation, recite the words in the way they are to be recited, which therefore helps in getting the best effect from the recitation. Learn Quranic Arabic online with Best Quran Teaching may help you in this way.
Why do our teachers emphasize more on Tajweed?
In the Quran, Allah says:
“Those people to whom We( Allah) gave the Book, recite it as it has to be recited, they are the people that believe therein.” (2:121)
The message of this ayah is obvious. The ones who believe in the truthfulness of the Quran and the message it gives to humanity;are the ones who recite it in the way it is supposed to be recited. This shows that there is a correct way of reciting the Quran, consequently, if someone is not reciting the Quran in the proper way then they are reciting it in the improper way, which definitely must be avoided at once.
It should be clear that there is a proper way of reciting the Quran, the question then to ask is that what is the proper way of Quran recitation? Muslims around the world are learning the Quran, however, very few know the fact that simply learning the Arabic language does not mean learning the Quran or its proper recitation, preferably learning the rules of Tajweed is an essential component that makes that the recitation is done in a rightful manner. In the Quran, it is mentioned: “And read the Quran (aloud) in a slow, pleasing manner.” (73:4). Thus Best Quran Teaching will make you learn Quran recitation in the proper way.
Recite in the Right Way
The Quran should be recited in a measured way that is a mixture of the pronunciation of words in the right way so that they come up in the right tone and when a person knows which word could go to what auditory limit only then can they recite them in a slow manner as well.
Another thing that needs to be realized is that this beautification in a recitation of the Quran is not something which is done by Muslims or which is done out of the will, rather it is something which Allah(SWT) has intentionally immersed in the stylistics of the Quran. He has used the alphabets and words in such a way that when they are recited right, they produce a stunning effect. Quran attests to it, where Allah Almighty says:
“…. And We have spaced It distinctly.” (25:32)
Mistakes did during Tajweed:
The above lines show the emphasis that Islam puts on the rightful recitation of the Quran. Which is not possible without knowing the rules of Tajweed. In addition to proper recitation, the knowledge of Tajweed is must because it helps avoid two kinds of mistakes that are climacteric to Quran recitation. The two types of mistakes are: The first type of mistake is related to the mispronunciation of the words. For example, a reader can blend or use different vowel sounds incorrectly, which according to scholars is a grave mistake and if it is done out of intention then it is something that is punishable. Thus, the knowledge of Tajweed helps avoid such mistakes.
The second type of mistake is not to follow the rules of recitation. The recitation of the Quran has some rules. Where at certain occasions a person has to stop and at some places, the recitation needs to be extended. This is also a mistake, however, it is not as serious as the previous mistake. As it does not cause any change in the meaning of the words. Yet, this mistake can also be avoided if you know the rules of Tajweed.
Best Quran Teaching is doing its best to provide these facilities. And its expert Qaris help Muslims learn Quran with Tajweed all over the world. Our teachers can make you learn Quran online with tajweed so you can become proficient in proper Quran recitation.
May Allah(SWT) increase our Islamic and Quranic knowledge and guide us to the path of truth.

The part played by social media and the Western-initiated propaganda are eventually causing a discontentment among the Muslims. Quran Effects
While most of us are playing the blame game, it is imperative to understand the part played by us. What is the reason of our deteriorating relationship with the Islam? What role can we play to ensure that this bond stays intact?
This blog will help the readers evaluate their spiritual state and judge if it needs a refurbish.
Causes of Distance from the Quran
As materialism slowly seeps in our lives, the space between Muslims and their basic faith has widened. There is a stark difference between practices of the ordinary Muslims in the past and the current practitioners of faith.
The luxurious lifestyle coupled with glamor demonstrated on the social media has impressed Muslim youth to the core. They are more interested to have a new iPhone in their hands instead of the Quran. The idea of being well-versed in modern education is more tempting for the young minds as compared to the idea of being well-versed about the Quran.
Along with that, constant Islam phobic thoughts initiated by the Western media are slowly polluting the minds of our next generation. There are doubts in the minds of many Muslims which stop them from pursuing their faith.
Moreover, the fact that Muslims parents are highly concerned about the worldly education of their child is making oodles of difference in their inclination towards Islam. The fact that most parents worry about sending their child to the best college or university instead of an Islamic institute is drifting children away from Islam. There is a gradual growth of perception where people believe that admitting a child to the Islamic Institute will cause a negative effect on their social standing.
Fundamentally, Islam is the continuation of faith that was sent down to the Prophets before Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). It is said in the Quran:
“Say (O Mohammed), We believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham and Ismael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and that which was vouchsafed unto Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and unto Him we have surrendered” (3/84)
This verse and many more lay the foundation of Islamic belief system. However, some scholars of the current Muslim world have created disunity through their unacceptable belief system. Instead of guiding the Ummah to practice one ideology, there are multiple ideologies functioning at the same time. This causes a rupture in the Muslim front. Consequently, many young Muslims and converts lose heart in this prestigious religion. Quran Effects
Effects of Distance from the Quran
After reflecting on the causes, it is vital to explore the impact of this widening gap. Here are some consequences of distance from the Quran:
Growing love for worldly luxuries
Lack of affection for Islam
No strength among Muslims to defend their faith
Doubts and confusions about evident Islamic laws
Disunity in the Muslim Society
Uncertainty about the Day of Judgment
Humiliation in the community as Allah doesn’t love a person who turns away from the Quran
Doubts and bad perceptions about the practicing Muslims
There is a massive debate that talks about what drives Muslims away from their religion. At the same time, it is essential to highlight the ways we can adopt to narrow down this gap. We have to stand together, work on our rectification, and fix the loopholes in faith of people around us.
We hope our readers will figure out a creative way to do so. Don’t forget to tell us what your strategy is!
The Quran reminds us, over and again, about the existence of evil. It is everywhere around us, working hard to push us beyond the limits set by Allah (SWT). Not only this, but there is also another factor of evil that we must remember. Duas
That is the evil eye.
It is not a product of superstition nor based on impractical assumptions. In fact, the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said:
“The evil eye is real, and if anything were to overtake the divine decree (Al-Qadar), it would be the evil eye.” (Muslim 2188)
In Arabic, the word “al-ayn” is used for the evil eye. It refers to the way a person causes harm, consciously, or unconsciously, through his/her vision. Typically, it starts with a person appreciating your blessings but then turns into the feeling of hatred and envy. Later, it causes harm to the possessor.
However, you must remember that not every individual who likes your blessings is jealous. It is only those who harbor negative feelings about you who bring such an impact.
Thankfully, Our Lord (SWT) has gifted us with some extraordinary gifts to shield ourselves from evil. Be it the devil or the evil eye; you can protect yourself by reciting some verses and following particular conduct. Here are a bunch of steps you can take to secure yourself:
Recite Morning and Evening Supplications
Nowadays, there is no trouble gaining access to the morning and evening duas. Technology is the magnum opus of this century. It has made things relatively easy. All it takes is a few clicks on the digital marketplace, and you can have supplication gems on your phone, for free!
Our Beloved Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), advised that if you recite these duas twice every day, they will protect you from all open and hidden evil. Its recitation takes less than ten minutes, but the effect lasts for a long time.
Recite the morning duas after Fajr. Or if you miss, you can recite whenever you remember. Ideally, it would be best if you were done with the recitation before leaving your house.
Recite the evening duas between Asr and Maghrib prayers. Make sure to recite during this span as evil spirits are unleashed after Maghrib.
It is essential to understand the meaning of all supplications and fathom the benefits it will bring. Also, make sure you recommend others around you to shield themselves too. If you have young children around, blow over them once you have recited the supplications.
Connect to the Book of Allah (SWT)
Any person who has a strong bond with the Book of Allah (SWT) can never lose against evil. If the intentions are sincere and efforts are consistent, your Lord (SWT) will never fail to protect you. He understands the pains you take for His Word. He loves this servant and grants him/her from His treasures.
Tying a connection with the Quran requires persistence and genuine desire. You must figure out a way to devote some hours to the Book every day. It carries a special Barakah that pushes away the evil that endeavors to harm you.
To our fortune, we can join online Quran lessons where expert tutors provide quality Quranic education. Or you can affiliate yourself with a renowned Islamic institute in your community. Just make sure this process lasts for a long time. It is a domain where knowledge never ends. Once you are done with one line of study, for instance, Tajweed (recitation), you can move on to the next program, like Tafseer (understanding).
Ruqyah contains specific verses from the Quran that mean to seek refuge in Allah (SWT). The aim is to protect oneself from diseases, cure the evil eye, escape the possession of Jinns, envy, and magic. Each verse of this compilation denotes how human beings are entirely powerless. It tells how they rely on Allah (SWT) to cure all suffering.
Ibn Al-Qayyim said:
“Ruqyah is one of the greatest remedies that the believer should use regularly.”
You can easily find this compilation on the Internet. But make sure the portal is authentic when you do so. It is permissible for one to recite ruqyah on themselves. Plus, there is also an option to blow it over water and drink from this vessel at intervals.
Wrapping it Up
The world where we live, the forces of good and evil are always in collision. Allah (SWT) has blessed us with tools to combat corruption. As Muslims, it is our ultimate duty to implement them, advise others, and stay on our toes to kick the evil spirits from harming us as well as our families.
May Allah (SWT) keep us under His special protection and mercy. Aameen!
Often, we feel like our Imaan has taken a dip. Despite all our efforts to stay connected with the Almighty, it seems like we are stuck in darkness. These days, it is natural for Muslims to feel nervous. They start thinking that Allah (SWT) is displeased with them and punishing them. Meanwhile, few stop trying to reconnect with Allah (SWT) altogether.
Feelings like these are proof that your Imaan has touched rock-bottom. It is an emergency, and a faithful servant of Allah (SWT) would instantly start his/her endeavor to amplify divinity. As the adage goes, “life is full of ups and downs.” The downs are, sometimes powerful enough, to detract us from the path and lower our enthusiasm.
If you come across these rough patches now and then, you should learn the ways deployed to escalate Imaan. Our religion clearly tells that Imaan keeps fluctuating. Yet, at the same time, it provides us some handy tools to keep it at the top-most levels.
Here are three you can deploy:
Regular Recitation of the Quran
The Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) has said:
“These hearts rust just as iron rusts, and indeed they are polished through the recitation of the Qur’an.”
Reading the Quran ensures that you are connected with Allah (SWT). It projects your eagerness to attain His pleasure. During these phases of regular recitation and understanding when Allah (SWT) answers to all the queries that keep you fuzzed-up during nights.
A strange sense of serenity engulfs your heart, and you feel as though your Creator will solve all your troubles. Thankfully, with online Quran classes and digital Islamic portals, we can now access deep pools of Quranic knowledge while being at the comfort of our home.
The question is, are you ready to sacrifice your time and energies for this cause?
Perform an Act of Kindness
Any act of kindness that you do to serve the creation of Allah (SWT) draws you closer to Him. It could be pouring water for a thirsty person or donating hundreds of dollars to a charity.
Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said:
“Every act of kindness is a Sadaqa (charity)”
Today, we live in our vast social circles, and it has become relatively easy for us to find out those who need our help. Reach out to those who need it and make sure you do not hurt them by publicizing the charity.
Note that kindness begins at home. Start your work from your family members, be kind and helpful to them. Then, expand your kindness network to other members of the community.
Offer Tahajjud Prayers
Tahajjud is the time when Allah (SWT) lands down to the first heaven, asking people to come and supplicate Him, for He is there to provide them. Anyone who feels their Imaan has taken a downturn should try to wake up in the third part of the night.
The last third of the night is the time right before Fajr. So, it might be tough getting up from bed, but once you are brave enough to get up and make wudhu, you will feel satisfaction in your heart. It can be 15 to 20 minutes before Fajr. Just pray two Raka’ah and ask Allah (SWT) what you’ve been trying to achieve for so long.
Nonetheless, if you want to follow the Sunnah way of praying Tahajjud, here is a narration in this regard:
According to Hazrat Aisha (RA)
“Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) used to offer eleven rak`at, and that was his prayer. He used to prolong the prostration to such an extent that one could recite fifty verses (of the Qur’an) before he would lift his head. He used to pray two Rakat (Sunna) before the Fajr prayer and then used to lie down on his right side till the call-maker came and informed him about the prayer.”
Work on this habit, and there won’t be any need to take pills for reducing your stress, inshaAllah!
Working to retain the level of your Imaan is a work that you must carry on for a lifetime. Make sure you steer clear of people and circumstances that distract you from the path of Allah (SWT). All the while, keep praying to Allah (SWT) that He calls us in His Court while we are in our best state of Imaan.
Pakistan – a country that came into being after loads of sacrifices and struggles. The nation takes pride in its remarkable history. It was due to unparalleled effort and grit of their forefathers that the nation overcame all roadblocks.
Today, on completing 74 years of existence, Pakistanis feel overjoyed. And rightfully so. However, there are some ethics to adhere by even during celebrations. Instead of playing loud music on the streets and doing fireworks, let’s figure out how we can play a productive role to revamp our state of affairs.
It is okay to celebrate. But let’s celebrate while staying within our religious and cultural limits. Here is what you can do:
• Offer two rakahs voluntary prayer to express gratitude to Allah (SWT)
• Make supplication and plead Allah (SWT) to improve our conditions
• Plan with your friends/family to plant some trees
• Visit an NGO or Social Welfare Home and contribute your time/money
• Analyze your talents and think how you can utilize them for the nation
The point being that at this hour, we need a different approach. We must control the deteriorating condition of our country. Our elders and martyrs shed their blood for this land. It is our responsibility to become active and save it from shredding into pieces.
Let’s show all enemies out there that Pakistan is a determined nation. We won’t allow any external forces to rip us apart. We are the country that always bounces back up when pushed down.
And while we are planning, seek assistance from Allah (SWT) to sort our problems. If He only says BE, no one can stop us from being the next global force!
